Der Blick wird auf der gesamten Strecke vom allgegenwärtigen Ama Dablam beherrscht. Zum Anfang zeigt sich auch noch der Island Peak. Es geht langsam aber stetig bergauf, am Ende wird das Gelände immer unwegsamer. Die Atemfrequenz nimmt infolge der Höhe deutlich zu.</tt></kbd></font></p> <p><font size="3" color="#f5fca3" face="serif"><kbd><tt>Der zunächst noch klare Himmel bei 5° C trübt sich am Nachmittag zusehens ein.</tt></kbd></font></p> <p><font size="3" color="#f5fca3" face="serif"><kbd><tt> Nach drei Stunden erreichen wir um 16 Uhr die jetzt völlig von Wolken verhangene kleine Alp Chukung in 4 730 m Höhe.
