Bekannt wurde Khunde durch das größte </kbd><kbd><b>Hospital</b></kbd><kbd> des Khumbu-Gebietes. Finanziert wird es einerseits vom Himalaya Trust, andererseits von Spenden und Einnahmen aus der Behandlung von Patienten. Die Ausstattung ist recht ordentlich, allerdings können komplizierte Operationen nicht durchgeführt werden. Einheimische werden nahezu kostenlos behandelt, von Ausländern wird dagegen ein Betrag verlangt.</kbd></tt></font></p> <p><font size="3" color="#f5fca3" face="serif"><kbd><tt>Der Ausblick, besonders
